What are Cashmere Ⓜ brows?
Cashmere Ⓜ brows is the signature technique developed at Eyebrow Institution by Maja Ljajić. It is an advanced machine method: a digital device fitted with a delicate needle lays ultra-fine hair strokes and combines them with soft shading in the same brow. The name describes the finish — luxurious, silky, weightless.
The result sits deliberately between microblading and powder brows. Up close you see real texture and dimension; from conversational distance you see a naturally full brow with no visible line where pigment meets skin. It is the technique we recommend most often to clients who find microblading too graphic and powder brows too made-up.

Before your appointment
- No alcohol, coffee or energy drinks for 24 hours
- Stop retinol and acids around the brow area one week beforehand
- No sunbathing, solarium or peels for two weeks beforehand
- Leave your natural brow hair alone for a week so we can map the shape
How the appointment works
Allow two to three hours. We begin with mapping and a shade test, apply topical anaesthetic, then build the pigment in light passes — that layering is precisely what creates the cashmere texture, and it cannot be rushed. A touch-up after four to six weeks is included in the treatment.
Healing and aftercare
Because the technique is deliberately light, healing is gentler than with most brow work and the colour settles quickly. Flaking is minimal, but the skin is still an open wound in the first days and deserves to be treated as one.
- Keep the area dry for seven days
- Do not pick at any flaking
- Apply the aftercare balm thinly, as instructed
- Use SPF on the brows once healed
How long it lasts
Cashmere Ⓜ brows typically hold for eighteen to twenty-four months. The soft, layered application means they fade evenly rather than patchily, so a refresh blends seamlessly into what is still there.
