Description
Labello Lips — permanent lip blush
Lip micropigmentation deposits a sheer, buildable tint into the lips to correct colour, redefine the border and create the impression of more volume — all without injectables. We call our version Labello Lips because that is exactly the finish we aim for: the colour your lips have after a good lip balm, only permanent.
The shade is mixed with you and on you at the appointment, matched to your natural lip tone and your skin undertone rather than chosen from a chart. Two people almost never leave with the same colour.
What it corrects
- Pale, washed-out or unevenly pigmented lips
- An asymmetric or blurred lip border
- Lips that look thin because the edge has lost definition
- Small scars on the lip line
- Daily dependence on lipstick and lip liner
Before your appointment
- Tell us in advance if you are prone to cold sores — we will ask you to take antiviral prophylaxis
- Exfoliate and moisturise your lips daily for the week beforehand
- No alcohol, coffee or energy drinks for 24 hours
- Reschedule if you have an active cold sore or broken skin on the lips
How the appointment works
Allow two to three hours. After the shade test and outlining, a topical anaesthetic is applied and the pigment is worked in layers from the border inwards. A touch-up after six to eight weeks is included — lips almost always need a second pass, and this is planned for, not a sign anything went wrong.
Healing and aftercare
Lips heal faster than brows but go through a distinct peeling phase in the first week, during which the colour looks patchy and uneven. This is normal and it passes. The true shade only appears after about four weeks, once the skin has fully regenerated.
- Keep the lips moisturised with the balm we give you
- Do not pick or bite the peeling skin
- Avoid spicy and salty food, and drink through a straw for the first days
- No swimming, sauna or sun exposure until fully healed
How long it lasts
Lip blush typically holds for two to three years. Lips renew their skin faster than the brow area, so the colour fades gradually and evenly rather than patchily.
