Description
Permanent eyeliner
Eyeliner micropigmentation places pigment along the lash line so the eye looks more defined and the lashes look thicker — without a pencil, without smudging, and without the daily struggle to make both eyes match.
It is one of the most rewarding treatments we do for anyone with unsteady hands, poor close-up vision or simply no patience in the morning. It is also the longest-lasting, because eyelid skin is naturally protected from the sun.
Choose your intensity
- Lash enhancement — pigment worked between the lashes only. Nobody can tell you have had anything done; your lashes simply look denser and darker at the root.
- Classic line — a fine, even line along the upper lash line, thicker towards the outer corner.
- Defined line with a wing — a drawn line finished with a soft, shaded flick, shaped to your eye and to how your lid folds when open.
We decide the thickness together, with your eyes open. A line drawn on a closed lid rarely sits where you expect it to once you look straight ahead, and that is the single most common reason people are unhappy with eyeliner done elsewhere.
Before your appointment
- Remove lash extensions at least three days beforehand
- If you wear contact lenses, bring your glasses — the lenses come out for the treatment
- No alcohol, coffee or energy drinks for 24 hours
- Come without eye make-up
How the appointment works
Allow around two hours. Topical anaesthetic makes the procedure comfortable; most clients describe the sensation as a light vibration rather than pain. A touch-up after four to six weeks is included.
Healing and aftercare
Mild swelling on the day and the day after is normal and settles quickly. The line looks thicker and darker at first and tightens as it heals.
- No eye make-up, lash extensions or swimming for around ten days
- Do not rub the eyes or pick at any flaking
- Sleep on your back for the first nights if you can
- Avoid saunas and steam until fully healed
How long it lasts
Permanent eyeliner typically holds for two to four years — the longest of any treatment we offer, because the eyelid is shielded from sun exposure that fades pigment elsewhere.
